    A Certified Advanced Resume Writer, Advanced LinkedIn Consultant and a Professional Employment Interview Coach, Victoria is a former Head Hunter and on-site Recruiter and Recruitment Manager for two of the world’s largest investment banks, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. She has an academic background in Industrial Economics and over 15 years’ experience across the CV writing, interview coaching and recruitment industry, including creating and directing international graduate, postgraduate and MBA corporate programmes.

    Victoria – also known as The CV Queen – has an impeccable understanding of what employers are looking for, both in a CV and at interview. As a strategic thinker, her strength lies in her ability to draw out relevant experiences, competencies and achievements and translate these into a winning format, both on paper and face-to-face. Victoria is an executive member of the international CDI (Career Directors International), where she holds the position of ‘Banking and Finance Expert’ and ‘International Expert’, and is an accredited member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers. She has achieved multiple wins in the prestigious international industry awards; every year since 2012.

    As Chief Human Resources Officer, Chris Ainsworth leads the Global Human Resources function and the HR team working in offices around the world. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership and counsel to the CFA Institute Leadership Team and Board of Governors.

    During his 20 years of success transforming and leading high performing teams across complex organizations, Ainsworth aligns the strategic HR vision to that of the organization and partners with leaders to develop high-performing, talented teams that deliver business-focused results. His HR expertise lies in the fields of organizational effectiveness, executive coaching and development, HR transformation and driving large scale, complex change.

    Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness at TD Bank where he was responsible for the strategy and leadership of all talent-related HR functions. Prior to TD Bank, Ainsworth served as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner with American Express and was credited for the significant role he played in successfully navigating the recent credit crisis. He has held HR leadership roles at GMAC Insurance and State Farm Insurance.

    Ainsworth holds a master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He has been an active volunteer in the communities in which he worked, focusing on organizations that support the elderly, LGBTQ youth, and animals.

    As managing director of Asia Pacific, Nick Pollard oversees operations of the region, including the organization’s two fastest growing markets – China and India. He is responsible for working with all CFA Institute stakeholders, increasing the number of candidates entering and moving through the organization’s credentialing programs.

    As managing director of the Advocacy division, Kurt Schacht oversees development of CFA Institute regulatory policy and relations. In addition to articulating CFA Institute policy positions through global white papers and regulatory engagement opportunities in financial reporting and capital markets, Schacht serves on various regulatory advisory groups and helps lead the organization's Systemic Risk Council and Society Advocacy Advisory Council, and other policy-related initiatives. Schacht is based in New York.

    Prior to joining CFA Institute, Schact was general counsel and chief operating officer for WPM Asset Management, a Manhattan-based hedge fund. He was chief operating officer for the Evergreen Mutual Funds in White Plains, New York, and deputy executive officer/chief legal officer for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB). Elected chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Investor Advisory Committee in April 2014, he also has served on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Standing Advisory Group, the advisory board of the Millstein Center for Global Markets at Columbia Law School, the Proxy Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network, and the Expert Group for Principles for Responsible Investment of the United Nations. He currently serves as a Trustee of the IFRS Foundation in London, which oversees the IASB and the promulgation of IFRS reporting standards.

    Schacht holds a JD and a BS in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned the CFA charter in 1998.
